Introducing
A celebration of food,
drink and togetherness
Saint is an upscale New York-style Italian restaurant with a twist. Based on the concept of “Pazzo Italiano” – loosely translated as “crazy, fun Italian” – the striking restaurant and bar plays with being both “naughty and nice”.
Overseen by renowned chef and star of the hit TV series My Kitchen Rules David Higgs and co-owner Gary Kyriacou, Saint is a 1,000m2 restaurant with a spectacular bar, attracting executives from the Sandton financial hub.
It boasts a DJ booth, which features top international deejays such as Black Coffee, and some of the most sophisticated 3D projection technology on the continent.
Saint represents the melting pot of South Africa, while the design – conceptualised by leading interior designer Irene Kyriacou, plays with classical influences from Italy and the Renaissance, contemporary art, and ancient mythology.
Saint’s chefs utilise imported wood-fire ovens from Naples, where Higgs trained in the art of pizza-making, but it is so much more than a pizzeria.
Patrons can expect a range of pastas and grills, with a South African twist, prepared in the Stefano Ferrara Forni pizza ovens which were imported and custom-mosaiced in gold to create the best “wood flamed” pizza this side of Italy.
